Teachers Cheese-Making Workshops
Internationally Award Winning Workshops
The Teachers Cheese Making Workshops were awarded first place at
the 2011 International Association of Fairs and Expositions
conference
19 - 23 March 2012
Innovative and engaging
the Teachers Cheese Making Workshops give teachers the skills and
experience to teach their students to make cheese. In turn,
students gain knowledge and an appreciation of the importance of
dairy produce practices.
In March 2012, 41 teachers from 23 schools participated in the
workshops. Teachers travelled from as far as Hervey Bay and
Kingaroy to attend the workshops.
Students are now working hard to produce an award winning cheese to
enter the Student Made Cheese competition on Wednesday 6
June.

Nomination forms for 2013 Workshops will be available in
